"This is central Texas"

This used to be ranch road in the middle of suburban San Antonio, Texas is rapidly developing into a place of resident balanced with residential life. New restaurants, shopping centers, and neighborhoods are springing up all the time. Although it is developing quickly, I would not say it is to the point of overdeveloped or annoyingly busy.

CommunityMan How do locals feel about the developments? Do some people want to maintain the quieter surroundings they found when began living there years ago?

"Main street in the quiet neighborhood"

This was the main street in my neighborhood and although it was a large street, it was still rather calm. I could comfortably go jogging or running any day or night and feel safe. In fact, I do often go running at odd hours of the night without any worry. This is a large neighborhood street, but relatively quiet.

"Young Neighborhood spirit"

I have lived here most of my life and I can honestly say it has been a great place to grow up. All in all, the area is great for familial upbringing. People in the area are conservative, white, and religious. But it must be said that as a minority, I have never felt threatened or uncomfortable.
