"Secret Dog Park"

SW 15th ST used to have a huge empty lot known the late night trists that took place there. But a few years ago the dof park was opened named San Janito Park. The park isn't much but its a great place to take your dog for some fun and socializing. Its full of trees so it has amble shade but like any dog park - watch your step! Its a great little park that is never full, so you and your dog can have some good bonding time without the distraction of other dogs.

"Don't go here"

If you think 8th St is bad, 9th is even worse. Located near the horribly name "Coral Gable Trailer Park" it is place full of prostitutes and drug dealers. It is not a place that you want to visit! Stay far away from this street. There is also a conveniently located grave yard next door, this place just gives me the worst vibes. I hate even passing through on my way to walgreens.

"Best Place in the Gables for a Run"

Greenway dr circles around the Granada Golf Course is Coral Gables. The street is always lined with familes on a walk with kids, couples walking dogs, and runners running around the golfcourse. This is the perfect place for a walk or run during a great Miami day. There are also beautiful houses that border the golf course that are amazing to look at. If you're in the neighborhood you should definitely take the time to stop and go for a walk on Greenway is well worth it. and its Free!

"Quiet street that runs thru the Gables and Hialeah."

SW 43rd Ave is a very residential street that is full of lovely trees and greenery. I love going for a walk up an down this street or going for a bike ride. Its great to have a street near your home thats a good for exercise and is pleasant for sightseeing. There are a great deal of stop signs so I wouldn't recommend driving thru SW 43rd as an alternative to 42nd ave. But the stop signs make it a great walking/biking/running street. So if you're interested in taking a nice walk its definitely a great street to visit.

"Very Close to the Beach"

This street is great if you want to just walk out the door and hop into the ocean. Its only 1 block away from the beach but that distance is a major perk. Collins ave, its neighbor is an extremely busy street that you do not want to live on. Harding is right next door and much quieter with plenty of condos to pick from. The N Miami Beach neighborhood is great for families with its great parks and the Beach! Theres also a convention center that always has fun events going on.

"Enjoy the Views"

I love visiting S Point Drive. I normally take my bike for a nice long ride along the beach and end up at S point Drive. Its such a beautiful street with its lovely ocean views. Any tourist who is tired of Ocean Drive should take a trip south for a little relaxation on S point drive. Bring a picnic basket and a blanket and enjoy the best sunset on Miami Beach.

"Nice Street but public services are horrible"

I used to live on Euclid Ave in a very nice townhouse. I loved where I lived, it was just a 4 block walk to the beach and to retail on Washington ave. It was always quiet and I never had any problems with my neighbors. Everything was great until the sewer started backing up in the front of our house. Every time there was a heavy storm, the sewer would back up and spill raw sewage onto my street. And the city of Miami Beach did nothing about, when I called to complain they said just to wait til it goes back down naturally. Gross! There were kids playing in that disgusting water and the smell was everywhere. Needless to say I moved asap and never looked back.

"Its Okay, not amazing"

Lenox ave on Miami Beach is a very two sided street. The Lenox ave closer to Flamingo Park is very quiet and peaceful. The Lenox ave near 5th Street is full of homeless and drug dealers. Oddly enough they hang out in front of a Church, so if you think that having a Church nearby helps the neighborhood - think again! The Church gives out free lunch which attracts the riffraff from all over the Beach. So be careful on this part of Lenox. But the Lenox near Flamingo Park is excellent, not much traffic and very quite. There are also some very quite condos on Lenox. So just make sure you stay away from 5th street.

"Little Gables - All the perks of Coral Gables but cheaper property Taxes"

If you're interested in living in Coral Gables but don't want the high property taxes consider living in the "Little Gables". Its a part of Miami that has the same family, quiet relaxing vibe without all the annoying regulations or property taxes. I have lived in the little gables for years and love my neighborhood. Its great to able to walk down a quiet street or go for an evening bike ride without worrying about safety or fast traffic. Its also very close to the gables so you can just walk a few blocks and enjoy all the dining and entertainment of Miracle Mile. Its a great place for anyone wanting a restful place to live.

"The gateway to the Gables and Airport"

S LeJeune Road also known as SW 42nd Ave is a busy commuter street that takes you from Miami International Airport to the Heart of Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. LeJeune is lined with all sorts of business from retail to Subway, so you're choices for shopping are great. LeJeune also has public transportation running its entire length (take the J or 42) that can get you to the convenient Miami Metro Rail which can take you downtown to the American Airlines Areana and Bayfront park. S Lejeune is very close to all types of entertainment and dining but is very busy so I would not suggest living directly on this street. A few blocks away from the street is very quite though and just as convenient.
