Cedarwood Avenue has a residential feel (and noise level!) but is only minutes from the exciting Las Vegas strip and everything unique the city has to offer. Comprised of older homes (30-ish years old), the neighborhood has mature landscaping and the houses are no longer "cookie cutters" as they have acquired their own personalities over the years. Some of the neighbors are still original owners and many have been on the street for extended terms. A lot of the neighbors know one another and socialize much more than in newer Las Vegas neighborhoods.

There is no home owners association for this neighborhood which is good or bad depending upon your experiences with HOA's. The only complaint I have is that without an HOA there is an awful lot of street parking on a regular basis and some vehicles aren't in the best shape. But I wouldn't trade the location and it's convenience to so many areas in the Vegas valley for that one issue. (...and fortunately the street is wider than in other residential areas so even with parked cars there is still plenty of room to navigate).
