"Right in the heart of Midtown."

On W Linwood, you are in the middle of everything. You are close to both downtown Kansas City and to the Plaza, an upper scale shopping district, Westport where many local bars and trendy shops can be found. You're not far from KU Med, Penn Valley Community College, 39th & Bell shops and restaurants and the Boulevard where you can find all kinds of great authentic Mexican food. Don't forget the Nelson Atkins Art Museum and the Kansas City Art Institute.

The area is interesting as there is always lots of traffic - both by vehicles and foot. Crime is moderate I guess. My vehicle was broken into once in the 2 years I lived in the area. Insurance rates are high. Overall, I miss the area but it was not a good part of town to raise my young daughter.

"Rather quite, close to everything."

We are the home of the Oak Grove school district. Here you will find the grade, middle and high school. The primary school is just a few blocks away. You are walking distance from everything in town, nothing more than 1 mile away. The street is surprisingly quiet considering rather heavy traffic (for a small town) in the mornings and afternoons with people leaving for work and returning as well as during school hours. In the evenings, it's quite. During high school football season, you have a perfect location to listen to the band or walk across the street to the game. You can also walk out your door for a perfect view of the city's July 4th celebration.
