"Loyola Village is the best neighborhood in Westchester"

Walking distance to shops and restaurants on Lincoln Ave., plus Loyola Marymount University (LMU) is a great campus for walking, sunsets and cultural events. It is also within walking distance to Westchester Park (golf, tennis, playground, picnic grounds, indoor basketball, etc.). Great neighbors. Not too much student partying, and the University is active to keep any noise or ruckus in line. Elementary schools are good. There is a magnet school nearby in Playa del Rey. Time will tell if an education collaboration with LMU will improve the local high school. Right now the high school is probably not a place I would want to send my kids.
