"Perfect to raise a family"

I grew up on this street. It was actually named after my great grandfather Albert Stewart. It started out being a cul-de-sac with only three houses. It now has eight houses. Three of the homes are pre-fab homes that really look funny in the cul-de-sac. Because of the number of houses there now the parking is an issue. However, it is quiet and people stay to themselves. I cannot say anything bad except for the land that the state owns needs to be maintained more often and when it snows, it is one of the last streets to get plowed. When the power goes out it takes awhile before it comes on again. The schools are great, there is a rec center nearby.

"Get Me Out Of Here"

I have been living here for about eight years and it started out being a very nice area to live in. Neighbors were friendlier, but now we have neighbors hanging outside at all hours of the night on their front porches drinking and smoking, the crime rate is up, drugs/dealers are all around, school aged kids are always riding bikes in the street, leaving bikes and scooters outside of the home or in the middle of the street. Trash...oh my goodness - my court has the trash drop right outside of my house in the FIRELANE. On windy days the trash blows all over everyone's lawns, on hot summer days the trash STINKS and they pick up once a week on Mondays. Residents are not supposed to drop their trash outside until after 6pm on Sundays, however someone always drops their fast food trash or more times then none there may be someone's couch or mattress in the middle of the firelane. Neighbor's here don't want to get involved to try and make this place better, and the board of directors are a big joke. They promise change, but nothing ever gets done. Canterbury has a serious ant and termite problem that they should be taking care of, but when they promised to send someone out to investigate they never came. I am looking to sell in the very near future, Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this area and Canterbury Riding to anyone!! Oh yeah, you have to pay a condo fee - supposedly for lawn maintenance, trash, etc...it is $163 monthly.
