"Cornerstone Lane area"

We're a step away from everything in Myrtle Beach but far enough away that you can forget that you live in a destination of 14 million every year. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the beach, shopping, dining and the hospital is 4 minutes down the road. Traffic is high on Stonebridge Rd. as many use it as a cut through to get to Palmetto Pointe. I wouldn't suggest walking down Stonebridge Dr. for this reason though many walk and also walk their dogs on the surrounding streets. Other than that Police presence is high and its a great place to live. We have a voluntary HOA which is good. Nobody likes old pesky neighbors with nothing better to do than to get into your business. It's a clean area other than the few pieces of litter that the "cut throughs" mindlessly toss but all of us are pretty good about keeping up with it. It's not Beverly Hills but it was never meant to be either. Its a good middle of the road middle class neighborhood. I wouldn't suggest living with kids on Stonebridge Dr. because of traffic but the surrounding streets are great! Inside the home though I never hear the traffic. These homes are well built. Most were built in the mid eighties and other than general maintenance issues we have had no problems with the house. I would reccommend this for settled couples and retirees as its a quiet neighborhood.
