Great street for families starting out. Some homes are small. Homes hold value. Near park called the Pit. Friendly. Good for kids through elementary, a little tight in some homes afterwards.

Hidden in the Hills between Old Town and 395, North Ridge is a family friendly, commuter's dream neighborhood. Mansion Drive rises up one of the hills and is a perfect evironment for professionals with kids. New neighbors are welcomed with gifts from the block, but home turnover is very infrequent as the street has some of the most desireable properties in Northern Virginia. Very expensive, but not a pretentious community. You will likely wait years for a listing to appear. Move fast when one does!
