"Great little street that is quiet yet just 2 minutes to the 52, 805 and near 5, 163, 15"

Best thing about the street is the underground power and cable lines. You dont notice it at first, but it definitely makes the street much cleaner. Cute homes that are different enough to be interesting (definitely not cookie-cutter). Built in the early 1970s. Some sour spots but that comes with the 'no-HOA' setup, which I like. If I wanted to paint my house blue, I just do it. Split between young college renters of houses, young families, and older/retired folk.

Closest public transit is about a mile south where Governor hits Lipmann. And from Huggins, thats a hike because its through one big canyon (uphill both ways :) ). UTC mall is 5 minutes away by car, or stroll through the canyon for a more direct route. Great hiking and mountain biking trails in Rose Canyon, which is on the north side of Huggins. UC High is an easy walk or bike ride away, with virtually no traffic to contend with. There is absolutely NO nightlife on this street, unless you count the frat parties that happen maybe once a month. They are respectful and not too loud. There really isn't any nightlight in all of University City for that matter--the mall closes at 9pm and your bar choices are hotel bars, Red Robins, or Trophy's. Lorna's has the best Italian around and is about a mile from Huggins.
