"At home on Homer Ave."

Homer Avenue is one of the shorter, residential streets in the Bronx. It is not in the best of areas being that it is close to the Castle Hill projects but it is not a bad place either. It is a very quiet. The people of this neighborhood seem to really take an interest in one another and actually do care about one another. It is not too far from transportation. This area would be good for those interested in owning a house as there aren't many apartment buildings near-by.

"Expensive but well worth the price!"

This area is extremely quite and a very nice area for growing families as well as retirees. It is a rather large street that runs through much of the Country Club area in the Bronx. While the Country Club area is a bit expensive and difficult to navigate, it is well worth the trouble. If you are searching for something quiet and private then search no longer! The neighbors are extremely nice and will look out for each other. There are a few new private homes that have been constructed over in the area near-by which may drive-up property values. The schools are not very far but are quite a bit of a walk, transportation from Country Club is not the greatest so it is best to have car when living in this area. It's close to Pelham Bay Park, which is enormous and is a nice place to get away from the stress of every day life.

"Very quiet street in an extremely nice neighborhood."

Buhre Avenue is located in the better part of the Bronx. It is very nice and quiet all year-round. There's plenty to do in the area as well. There's a great area for shopping just 2 or 3 blocks away, with plenty of different small shops and restaurants. It's about a 15 minute walk away from Westchester Square where there is plenty more shopping. It is also very close to the bus and subway so commuting to work is a breeze. The people in this neighborhood are nice, some of them will go out of their way to help you if you needed it. It is also close to a few churches within the area. There is also a school, P.S 71 in the area, that now goes from grades Pre-k through 8.
