"Close to campus but not too close"

About a mile north of MSU's campus, you'll many apartments and houses for rent on Burcham Drive. About a 10 minute walk to campus and then a 0-15 minute walk to your actual class gets annoying sometimes, but riding a bike or driving quickly alleviates that problem.

Bus route 24 is about the only bus that runs on Burcham and it is only convenient when it comes every hour or so. Not like the 26 or other routes that have buses every 10 or 20 minutes.

The best feature of this street is the suburbs south of it. There are many college student renting out houses and during the weekends you'll find that those houses are packed with people. However certain parts of that neighborhood are suitable and quiet enough for a family to live in. I live in 711 Burcham and it is very quiet.
