"Great neighbors, lots of traffic"

Richmond Road is a very busy street, five lanes wide. Left hand turns are difficult. A great deal of emergency vehicles come through. Loud exhausts and booming stereos are a problem night and day. Litter is thrown from cars and there is always an abundance of cigarette and cigar butts.

On the other side, it can be rather nice to sit and watch the traffic go by. You get to know the regulars after awhile. When you leave home to hit the streets there is no meandering through side streets and stop signs, just pull out onto Richmond and go. Its a straight shot to shoping whether you travel north or south. Shopping and resturants are within walking distance and the types of retail are many.
The housing stock is excellant and the neighborhood is stable. We have many multi-generational families in residence

"The neighbors are watching but its a good thing"

The houses were built after WWII but very well maintained. The plots are small and neighbors close. The home prices reflect this. However the people are connected. Everyone knows everyone and the dogs and the kids. Most of the residents have lived here the bulk of their lives.
