"Busy and Inefficient Road"

Warrensville Center Road does not really stand out in any particular category. There are far too many stop lights with confusing intersections, thus preventing you from efficiently getting from point A to point B. There is a constant flow of traffic constantly held up by these lights and continuous construction on this road. There is quite a bit of convenient stores and fast food on this road, there is also a mall, and Warrensville also features a race track just off the street. Though it has all these options for entertainment, this street sometimes becomes a parking lot due to the traffic and the stoplights. I would call this street convenient when looking at it on a map, but when you actually travel on it, you get the clear picture of it being more of a waste of time. There is not many residential properties on this street either, it is usually stores or industrial buildings, so it is not necessarily a street where you can settle down and meet neighbors, but it isn't the worst street you could pick in Cleveland to live on.

"Great Blend of Upscale Dining & Nightlife"

This street is more family-friendly than West 9th, but once again, I would not bring your kids down here much past nightfall. This street offers more of a selection of restaurants which are quite good, ranging from Italian food to a Brazilian steakhouse. This street is perfect for a mid-day lunch or evening dinner date and is also well suited for meals where you can bring the whole family. Parking is sort of an issue on this street, which means you will probably have to walk a couple blocks to get to the nice selection of dining locations. There is also a few bars scattered up and down this street to offer an option for couples or friends just getting out of dinner. This place is suitable for all ages during the daytime and will turn more into the bar scene (this sort of combines with West 9th) at night. This street has the same feel as West 9th, and I would take this road over 9th if I were looking for a place to eat before I went out to Cleveland's nightlife. It is in the heart of downtown and almost every location lets you eat outside on the sidewalk which lets you enjoy the city sounds.

"The Epitome Of Downtown Cleveland Nightlife"

This street features the most bars in downtown Cleveland in the smallest area. In just a few blocks, you can experience around 10 nightclubs that are truly unique and fun to go to. This is where most of the people of Cleveland congregate after sports games and also is fun on weekdays like Wednesday and Thursday. The usual crowd on this street is around college-aged to middle age and is really no place for any sort of family entertainment except for the few upscale restaurants that West 9th has to offer. This is a perfect place to go if you are on a date or are hitting the town with friends. I highly recommend this street because you can park once and keep your car there while you go out and enjoy various different clubs with unique atmospheres. Watch out though, police patrol this street frequently (which also helps keep down on crime) so make sure you plan a DD when you visit West 9th because you can get caught up. During the day, there is not much West 9th has to offer, as only a couple restaurants are open much before cocktail hour. Once the sun goes down, however, this is a perfect street to be on.

"Busier Street, But With Good Reason"

There is so much to do on Richmond road that it is usually a very busy street any day of the week. There are a plentiful amount of malls and nice restaurants on this road which is why it will stay busy, even on the weekends. From what I have seen when I constantly drive on this road, the residential properties, though sometimes scattered, are very nicely maintained. Additionally, I have never seen this road have construction being performed on it. Though it may not be the quietest street in the Cleveland area, it certainly is one that will get you from point A to point B quite quickly and intersects many major streets that head downtown (Fairmount, Cedar, etc.) This street could be a viable option to live on or for entertainment purposes for all ages. It does not necessarily show signs of rush hour nor does it turn into a parking lot two times every weekday, but there remains a constant stream of traffic on this road. If you don't mind this, then this road is for you as it has many options for shopping/dining and is very convenient for getting around

"Perfect Street For Peace & Quiet"

I grew up on Fairmount Boulevard as child, and I have always had fond memories of living on this street. The neighbors were extremely friendly, and there was a baseball diamond situated right next to the street where I would play all the time. If baseball isn't your game, there are a few schools within walking distance where you could go and find fields to play on. This street seemed to be the heart of it all and would lead you down to Cedar Hill or out to I-271. This street is almost entirely residential with a few bars and restaurants right where it meets Cedar Road. Like Shaker Boulevard, this street is beautiful with plenty of good looking homes that you pass by on your way. This road is situated in Shaker Heights and Beachwood, which are two beautiful townships that are extremely well-maintained and never have ongoing construction for extended periods of time. This road is one where you could raise a family or one where you could rest easy to retire. Though it may seem like a busy street, they have replaced most of the streetlights with stop signs so that traffic flows very evenly. Living on Fairmount Boulevard was truly a luxury as it was always well taken care of by the town and the surroundings were gorgeous.

"Beautiful Street In One of the Best Neighborhoods"

Shaker Boulevard is downright gorgeous, with all the houses located on this street being top of the line. Houses that are put up on the market listed as being on Shaker Blvd do not last long. I take this street everyday when I go to work in the morning and I simply adore all the houses and the layout of this road. At one end of Shaker, there is also the shopping center (with movie theater) known as Shaker Square. This is a beautiful addition to Shaker Blvd as it lets you get out of your car and walk around with everything you need in a couple block radius. Besides Shaker Square, this road does not offer any other markets or shops for consumers, but turns into a strictly residential boulevard. This road shows no sign of any distressed properties or vandalism. Quite the opposite, in fact, this street sports beautiful homes and plenty of trees and is neighbored by the Rapid Transit tracks which adds to the beauty of the street. This street has the fewest lights of any major roads in Cleveland and I always try to take this road when I am able to because it always in better aesthetic shape (and never any construction I have ever seen!) than other roads in Cleveland.

"Essentially Non-Residential, Still A Well Rounded Road"

Though Chagrin Boulevard offers plenty of time-consuming intersections, this road has it all. It extends into the outer suburbs so you can drive it from the Van Aken area all the way to the Chagrin Falls area. Along both sides of this street are great shops and dining places. There is plenty to do for people of all ages and it is a well-known road for it's offerings. What's truly great about this road is that you can drive the length of it and you can feel the difference once you get to the end, because it extends from more of an urban setting to the countryside. You can even notice the differences between towns and their respective amenities on Chagrin, so it makes this road a very well-traveled one because it offers so much. If I was asked what street could you travel to sum up the feel of Cleveland suburbs, Chagrin would be it.

"Great Street For Transportation or Fun"

This street stretches quite a ways all the way from the suburbs closest to Cleveland to the outer suburbs. Along the way, you can find many different shops and malls along with complexes that include restaurants, donut shops, and up-scale cuisine. This road truly has it all when it comes to options that cater to people on dates all the way to family entertainment. Golden Gate is just one example of the plazas that is located on Mayfield Road, and it features a Bureau of Motor Vehicles, smoke specialty shop, Panera Bread, and Office Max. Mayfield can be one road that you can take care of all your needs on. Additionally, the speed limit is probably the most reasonable that is available on any road so it makes this road a very viable option if you want to get from one place to another. One of the better roads that the city of Cleveland has to offer.

"Gateway to Downtown Cleveland"

This road is great to travel down as it brings you right past the Cleveland Clinic on your way downtown. This road will end up dropping you off right at Progressive Field (previously named Jacob's Field) and at the Cleveland Bridge. This road is simply for the commute but brings you to all the fun that Cleveland has to offer. The skyscrapers and Tower City shopping mall are within a couple minutes of this road. This street is what I use to get downtown while also avoiding the bad neighborhoods. Anyone can travel this road, and I have never seen the street truly clogged with traffic except on Friday mornings and afternoons for rush hour, so try to avoid taking this street during those times (try the RTA). This is a great street to take with minimal stoplights that helps you get downtown the fastest while also being an exit off of I-90/71.

"Fun Street That Offers A Lot"

Coventry Road is a wonderful stop for those looking to go on a date or a night out with friends. In a stretch of only two blocks (between Cedar Rd and Mayfield Rd) there are roughly 20 bars and restaurants. The street is located in a nice part of Cleveland as well, as it does not dip into the downtown area. There are plenty of parking lots and even a multi-level parking garage to accommodate everybody who makes their way to the area. There is only a few stores that offer any kind of shopping, so plan on dinner and drinks when you come to Coventry. But, you will have a great selection of martini and wine bars all the way to dive bars, as well as your choice of restaurants serving wings to pizza to Chinese food. Essentially, this is a "one-stop shop" for those on a date as you can park and everything is within walking distance of each other. I have always had fun when I visit Coventry. It is mostly a college-aged or older crowd so I would not recommend this street to families who are looking for family entertainment after dark.
