"Great Candler Park Street!"

Elmira Pl. is a wonderful street in the Candler Park neighborhood of Intown Atlanta. It's a very well known street in the community because of all the kids that play on it and also for having Fox Brothers Bbq at the end of the street. It's located just 2 blocks from the Little 5 Points shopping and restaurant district, making it extremely walkable. The street has a very close and inviting community spirit to it and is fantastic for kids.
Pros
  • great community spirit
  • walkability
  • kid friendly
Cons
  • parking can be limited with the very popular Fox Bros restaurant on the street

"Intown Atlanta Living At its Finest!"

Just 5 minutes east of Downtown Atlanta, and bordering many other nice Intown neighborhoods is the friendly and hip Candler Park. With its proximity to great shops, bars and restaurants and the new Edgewood Retail district, Candler Park is a highly-walkable area focused on community and easy living. It has its own MARTA train station, making it easy to access most of Metro Atlanta. Candler Park is a highly desirable Intown Atlanta neighborhood.

Another main draw for living in Candler Park is its 55-acre park, The park features an impressive playground, swimming pool, tennis courts, and athletic fields and courts as well as a nine-hole golf course. Each year Candler Park is also the location for a variety of festivals including the popular Fall Fest–attended by more than 10,000 people because of its impressive music, art, children’s activities, tour of homes and more–and the Candler Park Music & Food Festival, which features a full day of music and one of Atlanta’s largest gathering of local food trucks.

The homes in Candler Park feature two basic architectural styles, 1920s Craftsman bungalows and late- Victorian. Many have already been renovated by existing residents or new families moving into the area, but there are still great houses ready to be finished.
Pros
  • great stock of classic bungalows
  • Close community
  • Expansive green space
