"Quiet one-block street"

Robblee is a great little gem of a street. It's quiet and neighborly, people out for walks say hello and know who lives here and who doesn't. Back yards are deep and allow us to garden to our heart's content. Street parking can be a challenge at times, but everyone who lives here has a driveway and tend to use them. We're close to two freeways without being bothered by the noise or dirt freeways often create. Great views, too. We've lived here over ten years and love it.

  • Close to everything
  • Tidy homes

"Residential and on the rise"

We've lived in Silver Terrace for more than ten years. It started out good and is only getting better. A mix of every demographic - racial, economic, gay, straight, families, singles, etc.

It is close to everything, yet it is quiet and peaceful both day and night. House prices have increased over the years, and as new folks move in, improvements to streetscapes and curb appeal follow.

The houses are mostly neat and tidy on decent sized lots. Close to the Portola and Bayview means it's close to many great transit options. Biking and walking to and from the neighborhood get easier each year. Great views of the Bay.

A new STEM-focused school is being built that should improve the educational opportunities for the community.

We're close to great spots like All Good Pizza, the Bayview Opera House, and more.

Neighborhood identity is lacking as it's mostly residential and has no distinct business district. Residents either identify with the Bayview or Portola neighborhoods.

All in all, we've never regretted our decision to move to Silver Terrace.

"A small town in the big city"

We love living here, close to everything, yet away just enough to be quiet with a small town feel. We can get to the airport or downtown in just ten minutes, biking to and from the neighborhood is getting easier, transit is busy but direct to everywhere you want to go, and access to the Saturday Alemany Farmers Market and McLaren Park can't be beat. The neighborhood is generally safe. Homes tend to be less expensive here, but prices are rising. New schools like SF School and Alta Vista are giving us much better education options. A vibrant neighborhood association is working hard to improve the appearance and offerings along San Bruno Ave.
