"Military Town"

This town is basically military families as Fort Dix takes up most of the town. It's a transient town mainly made up of military families living off base who's assignments may be for years or months. The shopping is very limited as most shop on base. One food store and a few more stores in the mini-mall and that's about it.

"A perfert street for Retirees"

I live in a retirement village of about 400 well-kept homes. It is a very quiet street but perfect if you like to live in a quiet inviroment. We are close to the Garden State Parkway which runs north to south through the state. We are very close to marinas and lovely sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. The town is busy but when summer comes the tourists come so it gets a little hectic. Shopping isn't the best! Local stores are just that - pizza parlors, bagel stores, one main grocery store and 2 clothing stores. They are building a Home Depot but we really need a K-Mart or Walmart. The schools are excellent and the people of this town get very involved in the running of the town. There are parades, festivals, and in the summer plenty to keep you busy. Lots of families and plenty of fishing and boating. Overall, a nice place to live.
