What are the best restaurants in Upper West Side, New York City?

There are a ton of great restaurants on Amsterdam in the UWS. Fatty Crab, Sarabeths, Mermaid Inn, Ouest, Celeste are all within a few blocks of each other. Josie's and Cafe Blossom are both delicious and vegetarian friendly. As far as fine dining, many of the Michelen rated restaurants are on the south end of the Upper West. Jean-Georges and Masa are both in the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle.
