Can anyone give me some advice on New York schools. I work full time in Manhattan and need a good quality school for my son on the lower east side, something that is safe. Has anyone had any experience with this or can point me in the right direction?

We have friends that sent their kids to the Lower East Side Prep School, located at 145 Stanton St. They loved it. Apparently very highly rated.
