I was wondering how people are coping with the increasing cost of living in NYC. It's always been one of the most expensive cities to live in the world, but it's getting so bad I know some people who simply cannot afford it and have to move away.

How are you living on the cheap?

It really hasn't affected me so much, we don't drive. I am sure the increased rentals are hurting though, buying is not an option in this city so I think there's not alot you can, maybe move to Brooklyn.
