I just saw the movie Cloverfield and yet again, New York City is the star. I was wondering whether anyone saw them shooting this movie? Looks to be around Soho?

It was shot late at night - Lower East Side, mainly on Orchard St.

It's amazing how many movies they shoot in NYC, i guess so many people want to 'fantasize' about our great city :)

While it sounds exciting - it must start to annoy locals who have to put up with traffic from blocked streets. I'm hoping the city gets paid alot of money for the inconvenience.
