For years I've contemplated making the big move west and time after time I just can't justify the cost. Sure, I can earn more but when an average decent house costs $750k, it seems you are paying a fortune for the beauty of the Bay.

Maybe San Diego will be a better option.

What is so great about SF?

Im not so sure about house prices, but i do tend to think SF is overrated. Sure it's got the bay, and is very beautiful but i find there are way too many inconsistencies in the poverty groups that exist.
