"Tremont St. is an Excellent Choice"
Of all the places that I lived in Philadelphia, Tremont St. was the nicest. It is a quiet tree lined street with very little traffic. There isn't really any reason to go down the street unless you live there, it was not a main through street.
There are major shopping centers within a very easy mile walk. Public transportation is easily accessable along Roosevelt Blvd. There are many great restraunts within an easy walking distance also.
The area is mostly single family homes, well kept, and the property values are slightly higher than the surrounding areas. Crime is also relatively low.
