Eh, yes and no. It's safe in the way that there are always people out on the streets -- they're packed at 2 in the morning. But, no because there are a lot of tourists and a lot criminals that like to prey upon them. I'm not afraid to walk around Times Square any time of day and pretty late into the night. But, I would be a bit scared to live there.
