"You're Close to Kickin' N. Washington Street"

Thacher Street is right off of N. Washington - where all the action is. There are wonderful Italian restaurants, shops, unoccupied buildings, and parking garages - just to name a few. Traffic on N Washington is atrocious which sometimes spills out onto Thacher. It is SO convenient to interstates (93). You can literally get on in a NY minute - Yes, I know this is Boston. This part of Boston is great for history buffs, as it is known for all of its architectural buildings and landmarks. Not for the person looking for peace and solace. You rarely find that here.

"Cool residential neighborhood with great restaurant"

Located in Boston's North End, Thacher Street has such a great old world style feel. The streets and sidewalks are narrow and the charm is wide.

Personally, the best part of Thacher street is Regina's Pizzeria. The corner location, the great pizza lends such a feeling of nostalgia that can't be duplicated in a newly built neighborhood.
