Is the public transportation from Sutton Place in New York City ok?

Public transport on the Upper East Side, in general, is awful. The only train that runs through it is the green line (456) and that picks up around Madison / Lex. So, Sutton Place is pretty far from the only train. Most people that live there are heinously rich, though, so I imagine they have cars / drivers for the most part.
