"This is what San Diego is known for!"
The Sliver Strand is San Diego's showcase street. On the north end is Hotel Del and on the south end is the town of Imperial Beach. Taking a drive along this road is an absolute must do while in San Diego. San Diego Bay on one side of the road and the Pacific Ocean on the other side of the road with beaches almost all the way. The best sunsets on the west coast!
A great bike path runs along this route also and is always busy. Find kiting, surfers, roller bladers, frisbee dogs and more!

"Wonderful place to visit!"
This road is where you can find the famous Hotel del Coronado! This road is beautiful and lots of small shops and restaurants near by. I highly recomend stopping into the Hotel del Cornado!! The water lies on both sides of your drive down this street. Wonderful place to take a weekend trip to.
