"Desolate block in the corner"
This is a small and desolate stretch of area. After an apartment fire, the Red Cross moved me to this block and everyday I learn something new about the neighborhood. There is lots of construction in the area, building new apartments and stores, so it might be something to look forward to. As far as shopping 10 minutes on the BX19 and you will be on southern blvd. where u has a bit of a selection but nothing really impressive for us true shoppers. There are few children in this are besides the school not too far away. Overall it’s not the best, but far from the worst.
