"Great Residential Street"

I lived here for some part of my teenage years and it is a very nice place now. There is alot going on on Stanhope st. There is local corner stores for your shopping convienience, a few bigger supermarkets, there is also a large Hospital on the Wyckoff ave intersection , as a kid I remember i broke my finger playing around and I actually walked myself up the block and walked into the ER just like that, boy was the wait horrible 4 hours. It has alot of nice 3 story buildings. It is a nice convienient living street, not to mention the shopping area is within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this street for a family.

"Some Good Conveniences"

On Stanhope Street, you'll find a neighborhood that is very classically Brooklyn. This street is home of Grover Cleveland Park, several medical facilities, and places of worship. I liked this street and the feel, though other streets in the neighborhood are much more attractive. All in all, I think that this is a good street in a nice neighborhood. It is near the L train at Wycoff Avenue, keeping the street well-connected with midtown Manhattan. Having a car in Brooklyn is a bit more standard that it is in Manhattan, but for good reason. Using public transportation isn’t a bad option either.

"On Stanhope Street"

This street is filled with business and quite a few places of worship. It also houses a few service oriented businesses. I liked the feel of the street and the convenience in Brooklyn, though I think having a car here is necessary. If you're moving to the city, this neighborhood should be taken into consideration.
