"Spuyten Duyvil is Southern part of Riverdale!"
Not sure why Spuyten Duyvil has its its own category because Spuyten Duyvil is part of Riverdale. I just posted the following in the Riverdale ratings so it is appropriate to post here as well:
The NYPD has released its annual crime statistics for New York City in 2013 and the Bronx saw an overall decline. Coming in with the lowest crime rates in the entire borough is the 50th Precinct in Riverdale/Spuyten Duyvil!

Spuyten Duyvil isn't in Riverdale. It's in Spuyten Duyvil. Similarly, Kingsbridge and Marble Hill are their own areas, and not part of Riverdale or Spuyten Duyvil. Riverdale's only sections are North, Central, and South Riverdale... and those are just ways that real estate brokers describe property locations, not official sections.

Spuyten Duyvil is the southern most part of Riverdale. Although there is very little nightlife in Spuyten Duyvil, having it's own Metro North stop that takes 18-20 minutes to Grand Central is EXTREMELY convenient. Central Riverdale is a little further up but is within walking distance. In Central Riverdale you will find all amenities and restaurants. There are tree lined streets mixed with beautiful single family homes, townhouses & condo/coop buildings around Spuyten Duyvil. You get a little bit of everything architectural wise. Most, if not all coop/condo buildings, have doormen. The area is super safe. Spuyten Duyvil the safest NYPD sector in the 50th Precinct.

Spuyten Duyvil
"Okay Neighborhood for the South Bronx"
This is actually a part of the Riverdale neighborhood – named after the Spuyten Dyuvil Creek that runs through this section of the neighborhood. There is a park here and a bridge that connects directly to the northern most tip of Manhattan (though it is still a pretty good train ride to downtown Manhattan from here). This is one of those rare New York neighborhoods that seems to have an abundance of parking – some residency buildings have actual parking lots. It looks a bit like a college campus here, with a lot of brick high rises and an assortment of tree lined streets.

Spuyten Duyvil is not the South Bronx. It's in Riverdale in the Northwest part of the Bronx. Very nice area actually.
