"Small Town Charm"

Spring Lake Park is an established residential community of small town charm and friendly folks, located ten miles north of Minneapolis in the counties of Anoka and Ramsey, with a variety of commercial and industrial development. The City of Spring Lake Park consists of approximately 2.1 square miles with six community parks offering many types of recreational activities, access to neighboring communities and the metro area by major highways.

Spring Lake Park is named after one of its two lakes; Spring Lake, which is located at the southeast corner of the city. In December of 1953, Spring Lake Park was incorporated by referendum which included a very small part of Ramsey County, due to the fact that the Fire Department that was located in Ramsey County and bore the name Spring Lake Park. At the time of the incorporation the population of Spring Lake Park was approximately 960, and has grown to its present population of 6,805.

For golf enthusiasts, there is the Arena Golf Center which offers a great golfing experience plus the facility is surrounded with lots of places to eat so you would not go hungry after a round of golfing.
