There are a lot of summer programs for teens. As far as the ones that are in the Spring Garden/Art Museum section of Philadelphia, most are highly educational.

The Franklin Institute has a camp for teens called Discovery. In this camp kids learn about the sciences and things of that nature. The camp lasts the majority of the summer and is solely day camp.

Moore College has a day camp for sophomore, junior, and senior female high school students. The day camp offers an art & design programs. The program helps students with college admissions in the art & design majors.

Community college of Philadelphia offers a Forensic Science Camp for teens. This program is a day camp that allows teens to dive into the crime scene investigations and forensics. It serves as an advanced class and assists in college admissions in the science major.

The City of Philadelphia offers a camp through the Mural Arts Program. This day camp allows children to learn about the history of Philadelphia's famous murals and they also get to participate in current murals being done throughout the city.
