"A nice up and coming street"

I've a good friend who lives on Thistle and I have to say that the area has changed a lot in the last few years. Many of the homes have been refurbished, or at least are being well taken care of which was not the case in the past. The increase in home values in Seattle, and the new West Wood Village shopping center area have had a positive impact on this street. This is a great place for families, especially first time home buyers or retirees looking to still live in Seattle but have a more affordable mortgage. Most of the yards are large with mature tress. My impression is that it is a friendly place and that the folks living here are all quite please with the changes going on in their neighborhood. There is a bit of traffic on this street, but its not bad compared to some of the other streets in the area. Overall, a very nice place to call home.
