Southwest 1st Ave, Tarpon River

This is Las Olas Riverfront. It’s pretty much the same as Las Olas Blvd, but with water all along one side. It is really nice, with upscale shops, restaurants. Go early and start the day at Atmosphere Coffee. It is not just another coffee shop. I was afraid to try the Speed Ball (five shots of espresso), so had the Clockwork Orange (espresso, orange peel, cream – SO good). You can stroll along by the shops (sort of a Spanish architectural theme) and return on the other side, watching the yachts go by. Try lunch at the Ugly Tuna Saloona. Don’t be put off by the cutesy name. The seafood is good here.
