Southgate Ave, Westlake

My sister lives on Southgate. I spend a lot more time here than I do at my folks place because it is so close to the ocean. Call my crazy but I love surfing in all types of weather conditions. Southgate is extremely residential and that is one thing that my sister complains about. There isn't really a community feel and nothing but houses. In order to get to a shopping center or any form of community services you need to actually drive about ten miles out of the whole sprawling residential communities that surround Southgate. The houses are all pretty much on the newer side and the street is in prime condition.
