Parts of Southeast are in the North Salem School District. That elementary school is "Pequenakonck", known as PQ, in a beautiful location & very near some A+ horse farms and riding lessons. The North Salem Middle/High School is not far from PQ. The Pegasus Therapeutic Riding Farm is very close as well. Some neighborhoods in Somers, NY are also in the North Salem School District.

Pretty soon there will only be one elementary choice in Southeast, as Garden Street Elementary is about to close. Beginning in the fall, all the K-2 kids will attend JFK, 3-5 will attend CV Starr Intermediate, then Wells Middle School for 6-8, then Brewster High. To the best of my knowledge, scores at JFK and Garden Street were pretty similar. I don't have kids in the schools yet, but I've only heard good things about both elementary schools. I also know people with kids at Starr and they too are pleased.
