Almost 13 miles south of the loop Calument Heights is almost exclusively residential. One of the main streets S. Stoney Island Ave splits Calumet Heights North to South. The main draw to Calumet Heights is it's low housing costs. A very nice single family home can be found at around 100k. It's also in a great location for transportation. It has close in highway access and direct acess to the most southernmost el stop. Get in now before too many people find out about it.
