"A Fullerton Hot Spot."

The stretch of South Harbor Blvd. between Commonwealth Ave. and Berkeley Ave. can transform from a day time hangout spot to an entertaining nightlife strip. From restaurants to antique shops, café’s and clothing stores the street is lined with plenty to do no matter what time you chose to stroll through. Much of the usual people traffic walking the avenue or driving the strip has a lot to do with the student life surrounding the street. There’s a high school, junior college and a Cal State University in fairly close proximity to South Harbor Blvd., that if you attend any of those schools, you’re sure to run into a familiar face in Downtown Fullerton. The busiest evenings to take advantage of the nightlife on Harbor Blvd., definitely have to be Tuesdays and Thursday through Saturday. The bevy of bars with and without dance floors, sports bars and chic, intimate nightclubs scattered up and down the avenue make for an eclectic mix of personalities on any given night. With so much to do and see, concentrated on the few blocks of Downtown Fullerton the driving traffic is obviously not the best. So be prepared to see lots of stop lights, stop signs and heavy foot traffic.
