South Dairy Ashford Rd, Eldridge / West Oaks

Dairy Ashford near I-10 is in the middle of Houston's energy corridor, home to many energy companies like Conoco Phillips and BP. Near Memorial Dr, Dairy Ashford intersects with Terry Hershey park which has wonderful hike and bike trails that run east - west all the way into town towards Beltway 8, and as far west as Fry road. The trails are very beautiful and border Buffalo Bayou, which is Houston's "original" bayou which the city was founded on. There are some beautiful neighborhoods in this area. Close to Westheimer the area becomes more commercial and lower income - with fewer trees.
