"Not the first place to choose"

I have lived there and it’s neither the best place nor the worst place to live. You’re in between a very nice neighbor hood "Beverly wood" and busy La Cienege. There are little taco restaurants and a shopping center in walking distance. The one thing I did enjoy was the gym there it was nice and the circuit city (which is no more). There is also a toys r us if you have children and a my gym. The shopping center also has a fantastic Sam’s and Togos. There are a few other things there. I enjoyed the walk. The street is not what it used to be I drive by and see allot of homes under construction and apartment managers finally cleaning up the appearance of there units, so it's changing. Ever so often you hear the cops flying above and there was a shooting in my apartments and a cop chasing on the roof but that was over 7 years ago. Now it seems like it is better. The actual street is nice in the day it's not junky until you walk far down and get under the freeway. I had a patio and enjoyed the day walking to the shopping center or hanging out on the patio. The street is a working class type of street. People don't speak (which is typical for Los Angeles) they have somewhere to go and so do you, It's not friendly but it's not mean at all it is Los Angeles.
