"Take a tour of Havana in Philadelphia"
The area around S. Second and Market Streets in Philadelphia offers a taste of many cultures. The biggest influence in this area, however, is Cuban. If you want to feel like you have been transported to an exotic experience in Havana, you must visit "Cuba Libre" http://www.cubalibrerestaurant.com/. This authentic Cuban restaurant offers a dining experience that is second to none. Entertainment in the later hours of the evening add to the enjoyment and overall experience. When you leave the restaurant, make sure to stop by the other establishments along S. Second that will take you to other exotic locations. Cuba Libre is easily accessed by the subway at the 2nd and Market subway stop. When in Philadelphia, never stay on the streets that are highly popular....you will find so many "gems" on the side streets....the hard part is remembering where they were when you try to tell your friends.

"Nice street for living or visiting"
Second Street is right in the heart of historic Philadelphia. The area between Walnut and South Street in particular boasts a mix of good restaurants and older historic row homes. Of note, is the City Tavern near Walnut St. where you are sure to get both a history lesson and a hearty meal. Particularly good is their warm ciders in the winter. Farther south, Second St. opens up into an area that used to be a Market in colonial times. In this area there are a number of restaurants and pubs. Intermixed on Second St. and on the cross street are lots of neatly kept historic row homes, many with nice flower boxes and lots of architectural details.

"Take a Walk Down an Historic Street."
In a city full of historical sites Walnut St. between Front and 9th St is full of old world charm. Walking west from Front you'll pass the City Tavern, The Eighteenth Century Garden, The Todd House and finally The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier of the American Revolution. Each of these sites are interesting but the group helps remind us how important Philadelphia is in American History.
