Shady Moss Ln, North Ridgeville

This street is within a one minute walk to the community pool. It is also off the main street Mills Creek Lane, so you avoid heaving traffic. The community was built in the 1970's and offers ranch-style homes from three to four bedrooms, all with attached two car garages. It also has wonderful mature trees and tree-lined streets that are breath-taking in the Spring and Fall. Part of the Mills Creek Association, this community offers two pools, a children's park, a fitness trail, two tennis courts, and a summer swim team. In addition, this community is within walking distance from the children's football league held at Frontier park, a Raquetball and Tennis Club, and a Dairy Queen. Frontier Park mainly serves as football fields, but it also has a flowing brook that you can cross by way of a quintessential small town covered bridge. If you are one of the lucky ones in the community, that brook may run alongside or behind your home. In my opinion, this was a wonderful place to grow up. I could spend all my Summer days at the pool, then walk up to Dairy Queen in the evening. The Fall, I could pile up the leaves from the trees and jump right in them for hours. Then in the Winter I had plenty of space to build snowmen and snow forts. Finally, Spring, I spent picking flowers and raspberries at the park. What more could a child ask for!
