Happy Hollow Park is a great place for the kids and I love the zoo. There are fun rides for kids and the park is beautiful with fun things for kids too that look great like a story book. The better part for the grown ups is the zoo though it is mostly small animals.

Center foods is a nice asian market to buy foods for unique dishes plush the regular grocery fare.

The San Jose history center is a must visit museum. It has lots of old buildings to see and feel the history of. It also has a gallery of old paintings and is right next to the Japanese Tea Garden.

When we were in San Jose, we also visited the Japanese Friendship Garden. It was a beautiful, relaxing place with pretty gardens. You can sit on the dock of the pond and feed the huge fish that live in the pond. It was a neat way to learn about another culture.

If you are ever out in San Jose, be sure to stop by the Happy Hollow Park and Zoo. You will find plenty to do for everyone. There are tons of animals to visit and activities to participate in. You can even have your birthday party here! There are lots of exhibits through out the year.
