What are the best neighborhoods south of Seattle?

I'm a recent college grad who will be moving to Seattle this summer. I'll be working south of Seattle near King County Airport. Which neighborhoods should I look for an apartment in? I would like a pretty short commute as I have a dog and will need to run home on my lunch break most days.
