Tallyn's Reach

Tallyn's Reach is one of those places you drive by and wish you lived there. The homes were all built around the natural beauty of hilly areas and gorgeous well-established pine trees. Due to the growth in the area, Cherokee Trail High School was added about eight years ago and the high school now has a student body of over 3,000. This area lies within the highly acclaimed Cherry Creek School District, which has been noted for excellence in both academics and sports.

The neighborhood is located just off of the E-470 Toll Road, so there is great access to Denver International Airport and other outer lying areas east of Denver. Traffic on this road is almost non-existant as well as in the neighborhood itself, with the exception of going to the schools in the morning. Ill planning allowed for only one street entrance into the local high school and middle school and with over 3.000 students at the high school alone, traffic in the mornings can be a nightmare.

Adjacent to Smoky Hill Road, Tallyn's Reach has shopping along here as well as at Southlands just across the street. Within five minutes you can be eating a delicious meal at PF Chang's, dropping off your dry cleaning, shopping along the outdoor mall at stores like Coldwater Creek and Sports Authority, or heading out to see a movie.

There are gym's located nearby, but just going for a walk around this hilly area could get your heart rate up in no time. Their are frequently people walking their dogs, riding bikes, and just being outdoor enthusiasts as many Coloradans are.

While this may seem like a great area to live in, the one drawback is the cost of the homes. Generally starting in the low $300s, they can reach to well over a million. Most of the homes are large, custom-built houses that have been designed to keep the natural surroundings in mind. The area itself is well manicured and fits the scenery perfectly. No outrageous or questionable colors here, they are all earth tones which blend well with the background mother nature intended. Overall, if you can afford to live here, it's a great place to call home.
