"Its A okay Family Place"

I moved down here from New York Brooklyn .to get away from the drama of the hood .I must say that Wilkes Barre pa ,is getting just as bad as some other places may be in New York .there is a few Shootings an spammers in this area .not all of Wilkes Barre pa is Nice though .on the flip note the Square in down town Wilkes Barre is nice there is a lot of shops places to eat ,the bank is right there ,it a close walk to Kirby Park .witch is a beautiful lake ,park they have Fire works there every year .they also hold different groups and things for the kids like the cherry blossom fest .we have quite a lot of stores close near by and places to eat out .like from Walmart to Wegmans food store .from fast food like burger King down to Chinese , Japanese, Italiano, Mexican ,french ,to real good pizza N wings .
the kids parks are alright down here some of them are not clean or nice any more .there is a few good parks like at Kirby park where there park is matted some children do not hurt them self while playing .for entertainment we have the goof club witch has stand up comedy in the area ,the arena witch is near stores where they hold Hugh shows like monster jam . concerts like Usher down to Disney Princess on ice . or the Kirby center ,are they hold Broadway plays .there are at least 2 reck centers in Wilkes Barre the C.Y.C & Y.M.C.A with pools day cares in them basket ball courts after school help n so much more fore the kids
when it comes to living the homes fore rent or apartments are costly most people get on section 8 or low income houses due to the fact rent for one bedroom starts at 600 to 700 is the cheapest and up to 1,000 fore around 2 to 3 bedrooms ,you can get all types of houses down here from apartments to du-plx to mansions and middle class houses .but all together it is a okay place .lots of hobbies to take up down in Wilkes Barre ,dance , drawing ,Zombie ,and more the School are alright there G.A.R witch is full of not really good kids it a bad school ,there Coughlin High School is a drama school .,Mayers witch is one of the better high school ,Solman Plains JR high witch always offers kinder grader up to 8 grade .very great school .Dan J Flood k-6 grade great teachers not so great adviser at that school though .the population is more about 70% Spanish 50 % Black and 30 % Whites .from what i noticed in this area .It all together though is well rounded area
Pros
  • All season [if you like that }
  • great of out door life ,for hunting /fishing/
Cons
  • getting as bad as New York
  • Cost of housing an food going up
