"A small river town where people care about each other."

Wabasha is a small town located on the Mississippi river. The population is approximately 2500. Many families have remained in the area for several generations but there are some newcomers as well. It is a friendly town and has a welcoming environment. The big draw in the summer is the river. In the winter the most exciting thing is the National Eagle Center and the numerous eagles that can be spotted along the river. The community is great at putting on festivals to bring people together. It is a great place to live or visit.
Pros
  • People care about and respect one another
  • Situated on the bank of the Mississippi River
  • Home to National Eagle Center
Cons
  • Not much for night life
  • Limited choices for dining out
  • Limited employment opportunities
