Amsterdam

This was the most amazing silent and desolated city I have every seen. I was on my way to Boston by car and took a turn on the highway to see what this Amsterdam was like. It was horrible. It looked like an old mineworkers town.
So far the only Amsterdam that I knew was in The Netherlands in Europe. This town Amsterdam, NY is totally on the far opposite side of the entertainment scale. I did not find any shop or living being there, only old deserted factory compounds...
It would be an excellent movie location, though... :-)
