I like Durkin Park and Vito & Nick's Pizzeria. It's not really all that big a neighborhood, so you don't have as many options in Scottsdale as in other areas.

There are a few really great parks, Durkin Park, Rainey Park and Scottsdale Playground Park. There is also the Scottsdale Shopping Center, which has been in business for 50 years. This is a pretty residential area so there is not a lot of nightlife in the area.
