What are the best neighborhoods in San Diego for young professionals?

There are a few areas in San Diego that are great for YP. The many neighborhoods of Downtown are great specifically Little Italy and East Village. There is never a shortage of fun and entertaining things to do and you are not far from all the other great things San Diego has to offer. If you are into the beach scene then Pacific Beach, Mission Beach or Ocean Beach will be great options as well. If you want something a little more quiet then Mission Valley has many great condo communities that are still central to everything.
