"Best area of this street maybe north of Six Mile, noisy"
Rutland Street runs north to south in Northwest Detroit, from the city limit of Eight Mile Road (Southfield, MI)the city limit at Paul Street (Dearborn, MI).
Many vacant and/or burned out homes in the areas between Joy & the city Limit at Eight Mile.
Extremely high drug/pedestrian traffic, many home invasions, breakins, assaults, etc on a somewhat regular basis, especially if one is not from the area and/or passing through too slow.
My family lived in the area of this street for 29 years and I also lived on this street for approximately a year; Our home on Rutland was broken into, where the thugs threw all of our furniture though the windows and fired guns into the walls and ceilings. Apparently, they had been looking for someone and they definitely had the wrong address! I moved back home!
